Curt Dowdy brings 15+ years of startup C-suite experience, plus previous corporate leadership experience, applied to his role as Chief Operating Officer. Under the direction of OurEnergy’s CEO, Curt co-leads the organization toward the optimal planning, development, deployment, and execution of company strategies and capabilities.

Curt’s diverse professional background includes electronic hardware and software engineering, product roadmap management, strategic co-development partnerships, business unit management, and venture investments.

Following a distinguished career at Hewlett Packard, Curt co-founded three startup companies, including a journalism syndicate that covered renewable energy breakthroughs and curated cleantech articles for the Reuters Sustainable Business News Service.

Curt has additionally provided executive consulting and advisory services across a diversified set of entrepreneurial ventures, with business focus ranging from technology to media to wellness & wellbeing.

Curt exudes passions for human potential, environmental protection, and equitable prosperity. He strives to model those values within the organization and in collaboration with OurEnergy customers and delivery partners.

Curt’s education includes HP-sponsored management & marketing studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, and filmmaking craft, technology, and business studies at the San Francisco Film Arts Foundation.

In his off hours, he might be found engaged in human-powered outdoor adventuring in mountain, desert, or coastal environments. He’s also an enthusiast for visionary art & music festivals.
