Innovating Our Industry.

We are proud to have contributed to the growth of the renewable energy industry through over 1 Gigawatt of new clean power over the last ~20 years, and this includes a number of firsts and innovations:

  • Recognition from the US Congress and Senate for multiple contributions to our energy future

  • First and largest utility-scale solar PV project constructed on a Superfund site; earning the USEPA Renew Award

  • Several of the first utility scale solar PV facilities constructed on municipal solid waste landfills and contaminated brownfields in the US

  • Key contributions to some of the largest solar PV and wind projects in the US including Desert Sunlight, Topaz, Solar Star, Tehachapi Wind, and others

  • The OMEGA algae to biofuels program in collaboration with NASA and SFPUC

  • Tribal utilities and renewables programs in close collaboration with the USDOE Tribal Energy Program, the Yurok Tribe, the Navajo Nation and NTUA, the Hoopa Tribe, and others

  • Owner’s Engineer and PM/CM services on several of the early-adopting Utility solar development programs including:

    1. Southern California Edison’s first of its kind utility and rooftop programs

    2. Austin Energy’s earliest program development and deployments

    3. PSE&G’s Solar4All

    4. SMUD’s numerous visionary programs

    5. Early Solar + Storage projects with PREPA in Puerto Rico

    6. NV Energy’s large renewables developments and coal plant retirements

    7. First utility PV project and contribution to the development of the VIWAPA’s foundational renewable energy program in the USVI
