• Owner’s Engineer for this new high-tech “factory of the future” developed by a leading global electronics and telecom provider

• Integrated with architectural and facility design-build team to assess and deliver onsite renewable energy solutions

• 500kW carport bi-facial PV arrays and electric vehicle supply equipment were assessed with a feasibility and options analysis and procured through a managed design-build delivery

• The facility achieved LEED Gold certification and is the flagship new 5G equipment production facility in the US

• The project also established a fixed-price contract for 100% green-e certified local wind power for the balance of the electrical demand

• Provided technical consulting, preliminary designs, feasibility and options analyses, stakeholder and contractor coordination, LEED documentation, procurement support, contract negotiations support, and support during construction

• Future work will integrate energy storage and advanced controls to further enhance resilience and reduce standby generator runtime.
